You should only check your tyre pressure when the tyres are cold. ‘Cold’ means that the car hasn’t been driven for a couple of hours. The pressure inside your tyres increases as they heat up. If you set your pressures when your tyres are already warm, their pressure will probably be too low.
In the UK, you must change your tyres when the tread depth falls below the legal limit of 1.6mm. You should replace your tyres, if they are damaged and cannot be repaired. Here at Nick Tomlin Cars we offer a FREE HEALTH CHECK so if your concerned about the health of your tyres just call in and we will give them a quick check.
